Having just arrived back from a North African country, we are beginning the post production process with 12 hours of video and over 1200 pictures! Hopefully, we'll be done by the end of the month when Andy & I head off to Mozambique. We'll be bringing along a guest writer, Mike Saum from Scott Theological College for that project. Soon after that, we'll be producing a video for Moffat Bible College, and then off to another North African Nation for a major video production that will be used by over a dozen mission agencies. There's lots more planned after that, but for now we have quite a lot to think about!
Christ in the Chaos
There are a lot of stories coming out of Kenya these days. Stories of hate, of violence, of death. At OFM we've been commissioned to find the other stories, the stories of the church acting like the church, of Christians acting like Christ. The On Field Media team is a ministry of Africa Inland Mission, based in Nairobi, Kenya. We are missionaries who are photographers, videographers, writers, web and graphic designers, and more. On this site you'll find information about our team, what we do, and the online media library of the content we produce (library access restricted to AIM mobilizing offices).
Our 1st video
With our video premier, we wanted to go beyond describing what our team wanted to do in declaring God's glory through video and media, we decided to go ahead and declare it. Below is the result of our labor, the result of about a month's worth of shooting and editing, the first collaborative video effort of the OFM team. We hope you enjoy it, and are drawn to worship our God through it.
Teaching at Conference
The OFM team will be teaching 3 workshops at the annual AIM/AIC Conference, held in Kijabe, Kenya, from Thursday, Nov 22, to Monday, Nov 26. 2 workshops will be held on beginning and intermediate photography techniques, and 1 worshop on maximizing the internet as a communication tool.
