How do I access the media content OFM is capturing and creating?

That depends on the type of content you are looking for…

VIDEO

Even though our videos are showcased on the AIMSTORIES site, they are actually hosted on a service called Vimeo. This allows for us to distribute High Definition video for download and website embedding. You can simply share the videos from the AIMSTORIES site, or download them directly and get embed code from vimeo.com/ofm.

OFM can create master DVDs for Mobilizing Regions at their request. Contact the OFM Team Leader if you need help with this.

PHOTOGRAPHY

The complete library of OFM photography can be found at photos.aimstories.com. The bulk of the library is only available to AIM media personnel – Follow the instructions on the site for access. AIM missionaries have access to a subset of the full library – they should contact their Mobilizing Region for a password.

WRITING

Written media for AIM’s use is generated in a variety of ways – the most common being AIM or OFM initiated writing assignments. Most of these are posted on this website when they are completed. Mobilizing Regions may make specific requests for written content.

AIMsites, the AIM blog portal is another source of possible stories for publishing. Here, OFM enables and encourages AIM missionaries to share their stories. Mobilizing Regions may use this content if they get permission from the author.

How do I request OFM to take on a specific project?

We accept requests from AIM Mobilizing and Receiving Regions, as well as individual AIM missionaries. The OFM Team Leader takes the various requests and sets a quarterly schedule for the team. Priority for projects or assignments is dependent on many factors, including the resources available – personnel, funding, and time. You may make requests for particular video projects, photography, or even a written piece for your Regional publications.

How do I participate in the process of what OFM is doing and planning to do?

Sign up for quarterly email updates from the OFM Team Leader. These are intended to give AIM Leadership and Media Personnel a regular summary of projects completed,  in the works, and coming up. We welcome your feedback and ideas. Contact us and we’ll put you on the mailing list.
